The moment the first note sounds, it feels like sitting by a rainy window. That's how Jeon Doeul's voice begins. Cool yet warm, calm yet resonant. This singer-songwriter, who first shared his voice with the world through the 2021 single 'Sea,' earns the empathy of many with lyrics that delicately capture small everyday emotions.
A boy who started singing because he loved music and the energy exchanged through performances and stages now naturally writes songs, releases them, and works as both a singer and songwriter. His music is delicate and soft, and every line of his lyrics is filled with the desire to give listeners comfort and inspiration.
Story
Last May, Jeon Doeul's name could be found at the '2024 1st Sinchon Indie Music Festival' held in Seodaemun-gu. Performing an acoustic show at Changcheon Culture Park alongside Swon, Kwak Sangwoo, and Kwon Gyeol, he showed his unique colors on a stage open for anyone to enjoy.
'I want to be a singer who conveys warm hearts with a cool voice,' says Jeon Doeul. When listening to his warm music, even his cool tone feels as cozy and snug as a blanket draped after a hard day.

Meet their music live at the Singing Playground.
🎵 "Just Ordinary"
'This song captures the emotion of the moment I felt most insignificant in the world, realizing I couldn't do anything.' That's the background Jeon Doeul himself revealed. 24,000 people stopped before this confession.
What to note is his vocal technique. Starting in a low register and proceeding straight without vibrato, the singing style is calm as if talking to himself. But the subtle pitch change rising at the lyrics 'I can't do anything' adds a sense of earnestness. The arrangement compressing the original's full band sound to a single guitar makes it an even more intimate confession.
🎵 "Little Star"
A whisper of lovers gazing at stars. Listening to this song evokes the scene of looking up at the sky from a rooftop late at night. Jeon Doeul described it as 'a song whispering love while gazing at stars with someone you love.'
His tone becomes even softer here. The falsetto when singing 'little star' is particularly reminiscent of John Mayer's ballads. 13,000 people fell into this sweet serenade. The guitar arpeggio added in the second verse that evokes string lines creates a sense of spatial depth.
Great music! Your tone is wonderful too, I'll subscribe. Please keep sharing more great music like this^^
@muldeunmusic🎵 "Curtain Call"
One winter in 2021, Jeon Doeul's 'first movie' came to an end. When the credits rolled and the curtain call sounded, he wrote this song. As he said, 'everyone carries at least one movie-like scene from their life.' This song shows the maturity of calmly accepting the end of an era.
Over 30,000 people watched this 'personal' ending credits together. The highlight is the bridge at 2:30. The moment the guitar chord moves from Am to F at the lyrics 'the start of a new movie,' the emotion of hope is musically realized.
🎵 "At Heart"
The feeling of always running toward some distant, unknown place. This is the song where Jeon Doeul's confession is most honest. 37,000 people empathized with this narrative of longing. Singing 'hoping to someday meet again the heart that once shone green and bright,' the youth that everyone treasures is melted into this song.
Jeon Doeul's vocals are at their most restrained here. Rather than climbing to high notes, they stay in the mid-low range, expressing emotion through breath instead. The slight vibration at the phrase 'shone green and bright' doubles the sense of longing. The guitar solo in the interlude is impressive, adding live energy through improvisational playing using chord tones rather than following the melody line directly.
🎵 "Compilation Video"
You can find Jeon Doeul's 'At Heart' starting at 3:32 in the 'Visuals, Voice — What's Going On' compilation alongside DOO, Woo Suhyun, and Voicemail. Even this short clip fully reveals his musical identity. It's Jeon Doeul's unique magic that draws you into the music before you know it.
🎵 "Full Version Live"
Jeon Doeul's Nonol full version is a complete concert in itself. The fact that 47,000 people listened to this 46-minute live to the end proves his music's gravitational pull.
The musical structure to note is the transitions between songs. Even the brief moment of retuning the guitar between 'Just Ordinary' and 'Little Star' naturally blends into the performance. The transition between 'Curtain Call' and 'At Heart' uses the common Am chord to create a smooth flow.
Vocally, there's almost no wavering in pitch or tone while singing four songs consecutively, showing his solid vocal foundation. The ad-libs unique to the live performance — the humming added at the end of 'At Heart,' the spontaneous melisma in 'Little Star' — offer a vitality different from the recorded versions.

@muldeunmusicJeon Doeul's music doesn't offer grand comfort. It simply sits quietly beside you, being there. Even in 'Just Ordinary' daily life, he finds small lights like 'Little Star,' and calmly prepares the next chapter before life's 'Curtain Call.' And he quietly whispers that someday, 'At Heart,' you can return to that place.
If you're curious about the next story from the one who promised to convey warm hearts with a cool voice, meet him first at Nonol.

I don't understand the lyrics,but I love his voice❤😢
