The Story of GuGu

GuGu is a singer-songwriter who sings the world as he sees and feels it. Though he performs under a solo name, he builds each stage like a team, together with friends born in 2001 who have made music with him since high school. From intense alternative sounds to music that spreads from stillness into full-blown dynamism, ranging across a wide spectrum is his signature color.

Above all, GuGu says he wants to become "a musician whose live shows are better than the recordings." His honest confession — that his unquenchable passion sometimes makes him resent himself — lines up exactly with his attitude of pouring out everything on stage. Recent Activity

GuGu won the Grand Prize at the 2026 One Concours, and in 2024 he took both the Grand Prize and the Minister of Gender Equality and Family Award at the 21st LG Dream Festival, gradually making his name known.
